The fight for New Texas: Space Ships Battle 2

Well the second day of Space Battle is here!  Things get pretty wild.  Hold on to your seats.  ;)

Do check out the Major's blog for another grand overview: Here

Well that does it for the main action from New Texas....leaving the good guys victorious.  The Axis of Evil is still out there, and will surely be up to know good soon enough.  Also there are all those Tellyportium mines that are just waiting.

    1. Thanks man. Got a chance to use the non critical damage table too. 😉

    2. I saw that, and I'm glad it could provide some amusement. They took out the arcade and the dune buggy garage!

    3. There's so much we left out of our posts just to keep them readable. The non crit damage chart was our favorite. I'm glad grove got it in

    4. The Rancor destroyed the porn library at some point 😂😂😂

    5. Did he eat it? The rancor got a taste for sexploitation? That palace on Tatooine was just no place for a growing monster. Or . . . anyone, really. Maybe he'll do better now that he's in Graveskull. And at least this time maybe it was only paper and digital files.

  5. You know Grove, while I was thinking about how to improve the rules, I considered really further abstracting the fighter combat. But you have changed my mind. All the details about maneuvering and the lasso shots as well as pilot names is really awesome. And we got through 6 turns in just a couple of hours.

What a great time. Thanks for being a DOER, and thanks for hosting this. It was amazingly off the chain.

    1. Ya that kill sequence was pretty sweet. I think it’s fine as is atm. 😉

  6. Out of curiosity, did you end up using Snake Mounta . . . I mean the Lone Star's sentient ship chart at all? I was waiting for her to say "I Hunger" or some such. Things worked much better than I really expected so close in to the anomaly.

    Anyway . . .

    Incredible! Well done! Bravo!!

    (And I am jealous.) :D

    1. Yep, we used it. I think the ship had one minor reaction in the 1st ship battle, but in the second the Lone Starr really didn't take that many hits.

    2. Ya I’m trying to remember what the one thing was. 🤔 It wasn’t game changing in the pre scenario where it turned up the heat.

    3. Oh yeah, I forgot about that! Glad she came out of it okay, though. All said.

  7. Awesome report. I bet it sucks to be that guy putting around in the boarding tractor with all that heavy fire and fighters flying around.

  8. As I said over on Sector 6, this was spectacular to watch between the two blogs and the posts on LAF. Next time, I want in, but I have no idea how to get to you guys from Oregon...

Oh, and this is Sinewgrab on LAF - I don't have a profile yet.
