Monolith-con Comic: Graveskul, Hit the Beach!!!

G'day M8's!  Well another Monolith-con is in the books.  What better way to wrap up the weekend then knocking out the first comic report.

Up first is our Saturday Showcase game, of a huge siege in Graveskul on a 16'x4' table.  With defenders landing on beaches, and Attackers using Castle Greyskull as a base.

Stay tuned for more exciting reports!

  1. Holy shit, dude. DUDE! That game looked amazing. I had some serious FOMO while seeing your photo updates on Facebook, so it's great to have some comic reports to read while going through Oldhammer withdrawal.

  2. This is quite possibly the most amazing scenario ever played. It's like a bunch of 8 year olds got together and retold the story of WWII. I am heartbroken that I wasn't playing along with you!

  3. Wow Grove! I had no idea that the game was so busy. Did it take all day to play? Did you GM and/or play as well? It looks like it would have been a blast to play!

    Cool banana's mate :)

    1. He was the GM, there were a total of five players. There was a lot of stuff going on with the multiple sub plots. He did a great job keeping such a large game at a good pace.

    2. Thanks Lope! Erasmus I honestly lost track of time while playing. But I would say we played for 3-4 hours.

  4. Noice! That is ozzum pozzum!

Exceptionally cool, Grove. Looks like you, Blue, Lopez (and company?) had the greaterest of all possible times.

    "By the power of Graveskull!"

    Now with more Skullz!

(I am jealous. Seriously. I need to put something together. Soon.)

  6. Just freaking incredible! There was so much going on I had to go back and read it all again and I'm sure I've still probably missed bits. A truly outstanding batrep.

  7. BY THE POWER OF GRAVESKULL it looks like a freaking awesome laugh!!

That's how games of little soldiers should be.

Hope the game was at least half as much fun as it looked.

  9. That was great! Seeing all the elements from the past year come together in this huge extravaganza. What happened to April? She's the only reason I watch Headline News!

    "Dear Mom,
The beaches here in New Texas are filled with some sort of goo. Next time can I go to camp at the beach in Mississippi?"

    1. Thanks Major! It all finally came together. I thought I had a pic of April's demise but sadly not. The Bren gun turned and obliterated her at point blank range. I think Holly Hooters paid them off. Dont worry she will be resurrected.

Count Grabbo keeps renewing his hordes of Nazi Zombies...where are they coming from....is there a warp hole near?
