Heroquest: CrooksQwest!

Here is an awesome Heroquest comic report we played at Monolith-Con, with Captain Crooks Gming via technology.  One of the funnest quest I have ever been a part of.  Do enjoy the read. ;)

  1. Dinosaurs can improve any game....fact!

I loved the subtle editing of the post, so that Crooksy looked like he was there in person :D

    Well done :)

    1. Thanks! Your right Dinos make any game better! You noticed that did ya. ;) Tried to show what can be done with a bit of technology to play more Oldhammer. ;)

  2. I was there in spirit, which is almost as good. I may not have smelt the tang of Lopez' convention B.O. but I sure did see it.

  3. Looks awesome. I'm going to go cry some more for not even being invited via technology.

    1. You were putting your kids to bed during this one. Wouldn't have work.

    2. The fact that you're telling everyone about how you were off galavanting around with these hussies while I was putting the kid's to bed says everything. I thought we had something special.

    3. Lol...I think you thought this was more serious then it actually was. ;)

  4. It looks like Zargon was shirtless as his evil plan unfolded. Perhaps shirtless but with those shoulder things that Colossus has next time? Funky headgear would surely lend gravitas to the role.

How come Ro'Gaine got a haircut halfway through?

Nice report guys, looks like a lot of fun.

    1. Thanks Cheetor! That was the only way Crooks could keep me focused. As for Rogaine, the production was getting over budget , so had to downgrade to a B-Action star. Lol

    2. B Star my bronzed ass!! That's the true Rogaine, not some plastic interloper

  5. Good stuff, I love the use of those maurauder goblins as well. Did Blue start reading the Foundry how to paint guide after Nimble and Stumpy died? Those 80's adds are truly bizarre. I also feel like Crooks was Gm'ing in the buff. My kind of game.

    2. I was naked as the day I was born. Airborne told me everyone was going to be in the nudd but when I got there it was just me and all the spare clothes had mysteriously vanished and they kept accidentally spilling baby oil on me...

    2. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I can't believe how long its taking me to roll out all these Lichemaster minis. I think it takes me longer to write the posts than it did to paint the lead.

  9. Wish my testicle-eyes could bulge. They just itch.... lots of ocular sweaty itching.

Thoroughly enjoyed this mate! Made me wish I still owned a copy of Heroquest.
