A look ahead for 2019

My last miniature for 2018 is the Mayor of Hellsreach given out by Ramshackle games at Boyl.  Here he is finishing up some nefarious deal.
I decided to give him a pet chicken to spice up his base.

A really fun miniature to close out a great year of of painting and gaming.

Now looking ahead to 2019!  I got a lot of ideas going around in my head and they just keep coming as my blog drafts seem to be increasing!

Leaving off from the fluff of Monolith Con we might have our Warhammer heroes heading south of the border to Lustria.

If that's the case I need to add to my jungle terrain.  Hoping to build some more trees, some ruins.  I'm quite taken by the Vampire Coast at the moment as well, so maybe make a haunted harbor if time allows.

I'm planning on attending Cold Wars in March, and Boyl in August.  Other then that my gaming calendar is open at the moment.  Monolith-con will probably be back at my house but have opened it to the other attendees to maybe have a change of venue this year.

After some discussions with Lopez I've finally got my Chaos army bumped up to proper Stillmania 2000 point army, but more on that later.  For now I can tell you that I'm adding yet another Chaos Dwarf knight unit, and bumping the Heartbreakers up to a unit of 16 mounted Marauders!

Getting my army to a somewhat finished state...I'm hoping to devote more time for gaming, so more comic reports.  With my reviews of Skirmish-heim and Warbands I'd like to do some smaller character driven games as well..

Hope you all have a happy new year.   Thanks again for following along!

  2. A fitting miniature to finish on - a fat glutton who appears to be very pleased with himself. Very seasonal!

It sounds like a great 2019 you have planned - can't wait to see how it pans out!

  5. Damn, I really like that fig. It took me a bit to warm up but I'm a convert now. Do you suppose they will re-release old event figs at some future BOYL?
