More Terrain Boards done easy!

Clarence Harrison found a new way to make his boards...I thought I would take what he learned and try it myself.  I give you 12' of additional board made in less then a week.

They box arrived with 14 sheets of 4'x2' 1" sheets!

I got 6 sheets prepped as I need some more flat areas for the siege game we are going to play.  The town will be crowded enough, I don't need my hill tiles taking up more room.

I got them puttied with liquitex light modeling paste...I ordered a full gallon off amazon for this project and it was just enough.

Now time to add some paint.  I still had some of the old paint left over from my walmart match.  Just a base layer matched to Americana driftwood.

Then it was time to start on the creek/moat. While the other boards got a wash of black.

Then everything got a drybrush of the base layer of driftwood.

Then it was time for the flocknado!

After that was all dry it was time to finish the creek.

With a final step of adding some clear resin.

I give you 12' of terrain done in less then a week.  I'm wore out.

But then I had to set everything up.  LOL

Feel free to follow this or jump over to Clarence's Quindia Studios and follow his.  It's to easy not to do!!!

  3. I am a big fan of "fast and effective". This maximizes the equation as follows
    f(Fast) * f(Effective) = Awesome(exp2)

  7. Freakin' amazing, dude! I have a bunch of off cuts of styro sheet left over from insulating my garage. I'm trying to remember how sturdy your sheets are with just the modelling paste on them. I was thinking of putting foam coat on mine, but that adds to the cost.

    1. Thanks man. Those off cuts should be good. Me an Clarice gave up doing the wood frame which makes transport way easier.
