The Fight for New Texas: Lone Starr Maiden Voyage

Things begin to heat up (literally) around Graveskul.

Here is my maiden voyage with the Lone Starr.  Trying to get the action lined up for the big game weekend in a few weeks.  Enjoy!

So I got 2 events almost back to back.  The first one I rolled on the Senient Ship Chart, and scored a 1 which really helped out the defenders as it took out 75% of the bad guys. The next one I decided to use the Rancor.  Both events really helped drive the game. Now Krang is crash landed on New Texas with a severely damaged Technodrome.  Other ships are beginning to show up on Graveskul's space frontier radars.  Will they be more friends or foes???

  1. The sheer number of eighties things going on in that post...

What's the opposite of "grody to the max"? Coz that's what this project is.

    2. I believe the terms you're seeking is "rad." As in "That's totally rad!" or "Man, that's rad!" *announcer voice* "Rad to the MAX!"

      At least that's one possibility.

  2. That's a great battle. The ship chart, the Rancor, and please tell me that picture of He-Man wallpaper is really in your house?

  3. It's like you managed to distill the very essence of Saturday morning into a concentrated liquid form which you then mixed with a can of NoS, sculled to the last drop then barfed out this masterpiece all over the table. I love this world you've created, where April O'Neil battles rancors in the slimy underbelly of a living space carrier that for some reason has the face of Evil ALF. Bravo Grover, bravo!

  6. "Your nothing but a bunch a slack jawed faggots, this stuff'll make you a sexual tyrannosaurus, just like me".

Some of that imagery from the cartoon screen-caps you included sure brings back memories. They made some great ones sometimes.

You've borrowed and mashed so many different cool elements together I reckon your gunna have to be a super old geriatric cunt before you run out of ideas for use for this setting Grover.

    It's BOSS!

  7. The Lone Starr joining the forces of New Texas? I'm not sure why I didn't see that coming. The Genestealers climbing the Rancor was the highlight of the battle for me. This story line is going to be so boss.

  8. This is a non-stop barrage of pop culutre reference. Like what someone would see if they were trapped inside your brain and had to battle your subconsious.

  9. In between the filters, the camera angles, the photos and the wry commentary, you are bringing the Oldhammer comic to a level that I never thought possible.
But let's put all that aside. PLEASE, PLEASE tell me that the He-Man themed washroom is in your own house!
