A rogue Trader tale: Solo World Burner

G'day M8's...We continue on my back log of Monolith con games.  These rowdy affairs were a magical weekend of Oldhammer gaming.  Hope you all have enjoyed reading them.  We enjoyed playing them.

Here the evil galactic crook Worldburner is coming in to town intent on robbing the back for some space kredz!  Will he succeed or is he totally unaware of the orks who have taken over?

Read on for the exciting adventure.....

Stay tuned for more exciting adventures from Oldhammer comics!

  1. Fantastic! That was an action packed comic. Makes me want to play Rogue Ops and also figure out where I buried an interesting rule set with card activation, oh and play To the Strongest, which also uses cards.

    1. Card driven unit activation is my new favorite way to play!

  2. Some men just want to watch the world burn. Not Worldburner though. He wants to loot it first 😉

  5. Nice.
    I have 2 questions:
First: Worldburner's Pirates, They look like original Imperial Guard figs, but with headswaps. Am I correct?

    Second: What rules and mods?

Lastly, an observation. I am skeptical that this game was any fun. The table had more than 4-6 figures per side, and it wasn't plastered with 3 different kinds of status counters for each miniature. Worse, I didn't see one single reference to hit locations.
According to the recent interwebs brouhaha, you are missing ALL of the elements of a fun game.
It's like you guys like games from the 90's or something!

    1. 1st: I believe they are all original non converted space pirates and mercenaries. I will double check on that.
2nd: We played Rogue Trader with BulldogLopez's dark-ops mods he is calling Rogue-Ops
3rd: What is Rogue Stars? We know how to have fun and we are stcuk in the 80s LMAO

Thanks for comeenting as always Sir!!!!

    2. Lol yeah, no fun at all. Totally not in the meta. They are all original unconcerned Rogue Trader era miniatures. Most are from the pirates/mercenaries/adventurers line.

    4. Thanks guys. The grenades seemed to be hellacious (and I mean that in a good "carnage bloodspattered" kind of way)

    5. It's because I'm pretty good on rolling when there are explosives involved. On all other rolls I usually suck. LOL

  7. Another great looking table, and the game sounds like it was a hoot. Love the Bobba Fett colours on the pirates!

  9. I almost did my last post as a comic. You really have your thing going on, AG. Great stuff as always. :) The pirates and orks look great, and the scenery is pre-fecto-mundo! (Whatever that means. Not sure. But it's good. Gotta be good!)
