After a long wait, the battlefield of Eternia has finally landed on my doorstep! My Masters of the Universe: Battlegroundhaul from Archon Studio’s Gamefound campaign has arrived in full force—and what a haul it is. I jumped on this campaign last year thanks to a glowing recommendation from Cheetor over at the Sho3box blog, and I'm so glad I did.
This stack of goodies includes the Preternian Heroes and Snake Men expansions, terrain packs like Talon Fighter and Land Shark, classic characters including He-Man with Battle Cat, King Hiss with Tyrantisaurus, Clamp Champ, Roboto, Faker, Laughing Prince Adam—plus loads of dice, tokens, and cards to flesh out the action. It's an over-the-top, nostalgia-powered skirmish fest that looks like a blast to play and paint.
