Squat Biker Conversion

I picked up this squat biker at a hobby shop when visiting Bulldog Lopez.  I just knew I had to add him to my army and with the fringe on his jacket a Napoleonic theme took hold.  Inspired by Baron Lepic I set to work on my conversion.

He fit better on the pony then I was expecting.  To source the arms I looked to a couple dwarf slayers.

For his jacket I cut the buckle of a heroquest gargoyle belt.

With a little greenstuff work to cover up the joints he was beginning to really take on a Napoleonic Cavalry look.  With text like this who couldnt be inspired with this cavalier attitude.

In the end he ended up looking more like General La Salle or Murat with a more flamboyant uniform.

To match the unit I intend to have him with it made the most sense. I'm quite happy with how he turned out.

  3. Seamless conversion, you wouldn't pick those arms as being additions. He sits very fine on his mount too!

  5. Now that's the sort of idea that speaks of gaming genius! Grove, your work is endlessly inspiring. Well done sir! You figure you'll try to do Goodbits himself as a dwarf?

    1. Well I'm glad he's your favorite pose. I looked at the catalog after getting him and I think he's my favorite as well. Oh I should get him a little Shako or a Busby to hang on the saddle.
