Rats... rats... in the deep.
Painted these up over the holiday break for table fauna and random animal encounters.
Trish Carden did an amazing job on these sculpts and were a delight to paint.
After relooking at the studio paint job I kinda want to add in a blue wash or glaze. We shall see tho, they are good enough for the table right now.
Fantastic work on the mutant rats!
ReplyDeleteThanks man!
DeleteExcellent work on these classic sculpts
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave
DeleteThose would make for a nasty close encounter.
ReplyDeleteThey can work for so many games.
DeleteThose look suitably freaky!
ReplyDeleteThanks Preach!
DeleteNot a nice sight while adventuring in the sump.
ReplyDeleteThey will pick you clean 🐁
DeleteThey really pop! Awesome.
ReplyDeleteThanks Hobbs!
DeleteDamn, you made me get some more rats to paint, those are great and you're making the best of them
ReplyDeleteMec I'm so glad to be a beacon of inspiration to you. ;)
DeleteEeeek! Scary!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!!
Thanks Suber ;)
DeleteSo cool! Now you need some Ratskin gangers to hunt them down!
ReplyDeleteI've almost bought some several times but held off. I cant make up my mind if I should do those of Goliaths.
DeleteIn my mind at least Goliaths fit your "aesthetic" far more than Ratskins. I have a bunch of the Necromunda natives, but no idea if I'll ever get around to painting them.
DeleteThats my thought to, and then possibly allows for a Vasken conversion....But Ratskins are so coooool too. I'll decide one of these days. LOL
