The Cock of the North: The Defence of Dromore pt. 2

He is pt. 1 if you missed it.

Wow!  What a rousing game.  I fully expected my forces to rout off the table, but with a little bit of luck and keeping to the walls I saved Dromore for now.  I think I got the Irish bug, and will mostly build Rawdon's army for myself.  Well off to look at miniatures.

Meanwhile do follow along on Clarence's blog for more posts and incites to the game. Also it seems the European gentleman are starting to receive their copies, and have it on good authority those in the US should have them towards the end of the week.  ;)

  4. Great report. I didn't notice the parchment scroll banner in the first one. I need to find that for my fantasy reports. I also just noticed that the buildings of Dromore look suspiciously like those White Dwarf article buildings I just dug out of storage. A real feast for the eye with this one. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Using Roddy Doyle's Star Trek was perfect for this. LOL

  6. Cracking report, a tab early in the lace wars for my own interests, but a Stirling battle report with some nicely painted figures against stunning terrain.
    Well done sirs.

  10. Jaysus that was fun!
I love the hypersaturated photos. Your comic book battle reports are stupendous (although I do miss the adverts, even though I know they wouldn't really work thematically with this particular game).

    1. Thanks Matthew! I’m really digging the new app. I thought about doing some ads for this one but you are correct. I have 4 more reports to post from this event , they will have ads. Don’t worry.
