 Narrowing my focus on Fallschirmjagers in Tunisia gives me an opportunity to field Anti-tank rifles.  Which are terrible, but make for entertaining gaming.

 I've decided to focus my Fallschirmjager project to Tunisia winter 42-43.  A Sturm Pioneer Battalion fought in the North under the command of Rudy Witzig as well as 2 Battalions of regular Fallschirmjagers in the South under Walter Koch both of Eben Emael fame.  I'm loosely basing my force on the Sturm Pioneers but more on that later, this is about the tiger support.

It all started innocently enough—a simple YouTube video about the historic invasion of Crete during World War II. What was meant to be a brief distraction turned into a deep dive into military history that has since spiraled into my latest hobby project: building a German Fallschirmjäger platoon.

Moawr Warhammer Stone Trolls

 I've been contemplating getting the full set of Stone Trolls for awhile now.  Of course eBay prices can be quite a gutpunch.  Then GW released The Old World and made the Stone Trolls made to order and I was about to order both sets when I took one more look on eBay and found someone who was selling the whole set 3D printed for half the price. 

 

These prints are phenomenal!  I'm so glad I got them and I didn't even have to wait the four months till the made to orders dropped. Can't wait to start painting these.

Black Vasken, an ever-living chaos lord, commanding a warband that defies convention, boasting an eclectic mix of followers, from a Khorne Sniper to a dedicated blacksmith and a skilled cook...

Black Vasken's tale begins with his resurrection for the whims of chaos, a knight brought back from the abyss of death. Clad in ethereal armor, he leads his Chaos Knights with an air of otherworldly authority.

Surrounding Black Vasken are the unsung heroes of his warband - an unconventional mix that reflects the unpredictable nature of chaos. Among them is a blacksmith, toiling away at chaos-forged weapons that mirror the unpredictable and destructive forces at play. A skilled cook ensures that even in the midst of chaos, the warband is well-fed, for chaos knows no schedule.

 Khorne sniper, embodying the chaotic god's love for bloodshed. This enigmatic figure perches on the edges of the battlefield, blending into the shadows while awaiting the perfect moment to unleash chaos from a distance. The juxtaposition of precise marksmanship against the backdrop of chaos adds a layer of complexity to Black Vasken's warband.

The French forces advanced with calculated precision, their left flank surging forward against the Spanish while their right pressed relentlessly against the British.

 The main chamber of The Crimson Sepulcher harbors an imposing sarcophagus, the lid of which is etched with arcane symbols that seem to writhe and pulse. Malevolent whispers echo within the chamber, as if the very walls are conspiring to sow seeds of darkness. It is said that an ancient and malefic power lies dormant within, awaiting the moment a foolish adventurer seeks to disturb its slumber.

The Warhammer world is known for its epic battles and grand quests, but amidst the chaos of war, there's room for a different kind of adventure - the thrilling sport of jousting. Enter "Full Tilt," a jousting game set in the heart of the Warhammer realm, where I, alongside my daughter Willow, embarked on a quest for glory armed with nothing but our courage, skill, and, of course, tilted lances.

In the midst of Warhammer's sprawling landscapes and ancient castles, Full Tilt transports us to tournaments where chivalry and honor take center stage. The jousting grounds are surrounded by banners bearing the emblems of various factions, echoing the rich lore of the Warhammer universe.

Before the jousting begins, Willow and I select our armor, each piece adorned with intricate details inspired by Warhammer aesthetics. As we gear up, the clinking of metal resonates through the air, as our trusty steeds, stand ready for the challenge.

Armed with our tilted lances, we enter the jousting arena with a sense of excitement. The tilt of the lance adds an extra layer of strategy to the game, requiring precision and timing in each charge. As we prepare for our first clash, the crowd roars in anticipation.

Full Tilt is not just about charging blindly. Each joust is a tactical dance, a careful balance between offense and defense. Willow surprises me with her adept handling of her knight making every joust a unique and unpredictable encounter.

Between rounds, Willow and I find ourselves getting more excited. The jousting tournaments are not just battles of skill; they become narratives of heroism, with each clash echoing the legendary tales of Warhammer champions.
