Warcry

I did it! I made the plunge into the 8 points and plan to conquer the Varanspire!


So let out your best Warcry to start the project!


I had a little help getting the box unpacked.  Someone is very excited as well after watchinga  few game videos with me.



I got everything out and started assembling.


By the end of the evening I had the Bell tower and Statue complete.


I'm going to continue assembling as I'm still waiting on some contrast paints to arrive. Hoping to have everything assembled by next weekend so I can start painting.  Will probably knock out the terrain first then get busy on the gangs.

    This set is great and it all paints up really easily. Because it's so easy to paint, especially with contrast paints, this would be a great set to get some help painting!

    Just don't let Bloo see all that Newhammer!

    Warcry scenery looks so good. THe starter warbands tho look a bit silly to me. Good that the rules allow players to add in other AoS factions so peop's can use their existing figs.

    Looking forward to reading on what you think of how it plays. Reviews I've read so far suggest it's not all that exciting a rules set.

      I’m excited about the terrain as it fits kind of with my graveskul look. I’m excited about the untamed minis and like the Corvus. I’ll be sure to post my thoughts tho.

      Will say though that the Snake theme'd warband might make for some interesting Kissy Snake cultists?

      I thought about them as maybe an antagonistic gang. I’m going untamed for my kissy snake followers atm. I got some cool ideas planned.

    Did you glue the stairs? The instructions are a bit unhelpful as you need to not glue the stairs to the towers if you want to be able to make all the terrain card set-ups.

    The contents are great and I managed to get all the terrain painted up the day I bought it so its lovely stuff to paint.

    The game itself I have not warmed to but hopefully it will tick your boxes and you'll love it

      Awesome news to hear. Assembly has been pretty smooth. Haven't played a game yet so will wait to cast judgement, from everything I've watched and been told I'm pretty excited about the rules.
