The Whispering Woods

I got the trees done that I had left to do from the last post.
They are based off the trees 2nd ed. 40K alien trees, as well as the MOTU Whispering woods.

All I did was go to a local craft store, bought floral wire, and the lichen.  Then got some gauze tape from the local pharmacy covered it in light putty.Next step was priming it with spray paint, then drybrushing it and used the hot glue gun to put the lichen in place.

Now what magic treasures could be hiding in there?

The bones are from the new Funko Bat Cave toyset.  I just gave it a wash and drybrushed it. *Tip* If I was to do it over I would prime it with spraypaint first.

I'm still debating whether to add some blue stripes.  While I mull that over I am thinking of making some will o wisps to lead to treasure if the scenario calls for it.  I'm sure it will be like the one's from Brave. May be use some LED lights.  We will see.

  3. Awesome, they look excellent. Really good alien/fantasy looking scenery. It reminds me a little of some of Rodney Matthews art.

  9. That's a really beautiful forest, alien with a slightly wholesome fantasy vibe. The skeleton is a great touch to set the scene!
