There and Back Again: A Seppo's BOYL

Whoo I'm finally back home...Lopez beat me to a review and that mukker wasn't even there. Also Axiom got 3 posts for the whole weekend...what an overachiever. (eye roll)
The beautiful landscape of England...the Septic invasion begins.  12 hours of travel, 3 days of gaming, and 12 hours back.  Totally worth it.

We started off at Warhammer World with Axioms Heat Wave Necromunda Campaign!  Weazil got to come hangout for a bit as well which was quite fun.

Yes even in Newhammer you Still have to look up rulez.  LOL
Axiom and Curis make a bold statement that they will be victorious at the end of the day.  We will see you sump scum!!!!  (Ya I'm on the other team.  LOL)
Get your minds in the gutter boys, we are in the Underhive after all.  ;)
Antipixi gloating to Whiskey Priest on how he did the maths to victory.
Whiskey Priest realizing he had indeed lost.  MUAHAHAHAHA
At the end of the day our team fell short of victory, but at the end of the day who cares.  3 rousing games of Necromunda verse some of my bestest buddies at Warhammer World.  Couldn't ask for more.
Saturday at Foundry kicked off with What a Tanker.  I got a lot of positive comments on my Pizza Tank which was well appreciated.
Everyone getting acquainted with the rules, and deciding sides.  I got picked for the red team.
Erny and Snickit  having a rousing game of 3rd Ed.  It was really fun to watch them go back and forth all day.
The glorious temple made by Thantsants.  What a sight to behold, he has promised to run this next year, I hope to get in on it then.
Also got a chance to meet and chat with Paul Ede a follower of the blog.  He joined us for the DAiS game, and was a most excellent opponent.  Taking pity on me with his vampire as Antipixi's was already wrecking me with his.  2 vampires opposing is never a good outcome.  LOL

These guys had an amazing Epic game setup outside from us.  I kept popping out to enjoy the awesome setup.
Curtis's amazing Hellsreach table in all it's glory.  He keeps adding to it, and one day may take over the whole front tent.  ;)
Oh did I mention I got to meet John Blanche.
To round out the day Axiom ran a really fun Bounty Hunter game.  I took a bit of Seppo Justice and seemed to take a guilty until proven innocent approach.
Then Kissy Snake came out and oh boy did it get silly after that.   Hopefully Curis gets a chance to post some videos of that.
Cheetor what are you doing with your hand?
Oh It's just Kissy Snake, Alex.
Kissy Snake throwing back a few beers.
Then the Combat Burger boyz got to throw back a few beers themselves...JB what are you doing to Cheetor?
It's been a long time since I was out that late.  LOL
Sunday started of with a great game of Mordheim.
Alex got his Praetorians out for a game of Rogue Trader.  Always good to see the thin red line.
While I busied myself with getting a fresh sculpt from Kev Adams,
Kev Adams inspired Battle Cat head on a Pan Tangian tiger.  I'm excited to get some paint on this.

If you like what you've seen, and don't know how to do BOYL  do check out Whiskey Priest's guide here

Then alas the Seppo Invasion was over, and I made my long journey home.

Till next year Mec's, it can't come soon enough.  ;)

I'll have some comic reports up over the next week or two of the games I played....so stay tuned.

  7. Great to see you bud - we must indeed have a game next year and I suppose I could drag the shrine along since it's a bit of a trek for you ;) JB's Raiders of the Lost Orc game has me thinking of some Indiana Jones style shenanigans! Also very excited to see Battlecat with some paint on him!

  12. Thanks for the recap, I liked seeing some of the other games and personalities I know from the webz. I think we all know, Vampires Suck! Well, playing against them does anyway. I think the true dilemma is not how to get to BOYL, but what to play. So much awesome.

I've set up eBay alerts for the Frightzone playset so I can slip my hand back up Kissy Snake before next year.
