Moawr Characters & Buildings for Graveskul

M8's got some new characters and buildings for Graveskul to show you.  I started these a few months ago, you can check out the WiP  Here.

First up is Pee-Wee Herman and his Playhouse.  LOL

I built these a bit bigger then the Busty Bronco as I really wanted to allow for actual combat and movement through the buildings.
The old bank sign had been bugging me, so I gave it a fresh look.

Next up Ch. 4 Action news finally gets it's own building.  With a brand new studio for the arrival of April Oneal.  I'm guessing we are going to have some rivalry between Holly Hooters and April.  News at 11. ;)
Quick we got a scoop!
Holly Hooters doesnt have the only ones in town.

That biatch has stolen my spot!

Make sure you get my good side. ;)

Graveskul has really become a bustling little town as you can see.
I hope to keep adding to it.
Some work in progress shots to show how I did everything.

  1. Those buildings look awesome. You and Sabick need to have a terrain-off to see who can do better n

    1. I meant a terrain competition, not a street fight...

  4. I feel like I need more buildings all of a sudden. Logansport is still too small. :) I look forward to playing in/near Garevskull one of these days. It's looking better all the time. Better and busier.

  5. Agree with the comments above. Didn't realize how many excellent terrain makers this community has

  6. Those are great - I really like the size of the buildings. They're properly scaled and playable too - most wargames terrain (a lot of mine included) is tiny and only serves to block lines of sight, rather than deliver playable gaming surfaces. A fine job!

    1. Thanks Jon. Ya Pees Wees could host a game by itself. With room for several squads plus opposition to fight thru. I really wanted to get away from the cramped feeling of them. Appreciate the comments buddy.

  7. That's getting to be a thriving metropolis there!

  8. The famous Bronte authors created a fantasy world called "Angria" as children. They used toy soldier and essentially played out the coming and goings of all of its citizens. They even wrote tiny magazines in the scale of the soldiers, and one of them was up for auction at Sotheby's in 2011, (http://www.npr.org/2011/11/23/142619460/small-book-big-story-bronte-manuscript-discovered).

My point is... our madness puts us in good company. Great post...
    uh... and nice cosplay pic

    1. Very interesting. I'm going to have to look into that. I've actually contemplated doing small comic reports on just normal citizens going about their daily lives. Not sure if that would be of interest tho. Possibly a 2-3 page extra on a normal report would be a better way to sneak it in. Either way Yes I think we got a cool thing going on. I'm really looking forward to getting started on that super secret project. ;)

    2. An interesting idea...it might be fun to do the report from the perspective of an "innocent" bystander with the action going on around him/her/it and how that affected their comings and goings...? "Pesky Space Pirates Ruined my commute to work again" that kind of thing...

    3. I did not know that business about the Bronte sisters. We're in good company, it would seem. :) And yes, Mr. Airborne, I would be quite well pleased to see stories on the comings and goings of your citizens. Either as a stand alone or appended to a regular strip would be great. Now, if you made a tiny comic strip and posted it on the side of a building for your citizens to read: The Gaveskull Caper, maybe: A kind of cross between a comic and a paper? Posted on a signboard in the middle of town, like the Acta Diurna in Rome? Hmm. Ideas.
