21 Genestealers in erm....14 days 🤷🏻‍♂️

I got them done in 14 days. Added with the 7 I did a couple weeks ago I have a full force of 28 Genestealers ready to get hulking!!!

I’m really enjoying the contrast paints. These aren’t my best work but you can’t beat 28 miniatures complete in 14 days worth of painting. I’m going to continue experimenting with contrast paints. They have been really fun so far to try out and encourage anyone to give them a try.

I have been slowly drawn into being a huge fan of the contrast paints.

  5. ...

I like better the ones you got their skin on the pinkier side of the purple hue.

Just one question, are you comfy painting over such a mess? I meant... My desk looks like a deer just raved and took a shot all over but the older I get the weirder my eyes are. Sometimes I got sort of "cross eyed" motion as if everything is shaking and it happens when the background of the stuff I'm painting is too messy (be it the tissue that ends looking like unicorn poo with all sorts of colors here and there).

You are making me consider getting a contrast pot and try, even if it doesn't look like my cup of tea.

    Cheers

    1. Appreciate the feedback Javi, you should get a pot an try it out. The paint table really doesn’t bother my eyes yet. I do need to clean it up a bit tho. 😂

    2. Is there any "must have" contrast pot yet? I know it's sensible to whatever you need to paint, but for every range there's always a 'god's canned pee' like devlan mud was.

    3. I think Nazdreg Yellow is a must, as is Flesh Tearers Red, and Wyldwood Brown and Gor Grunta Brown. Those can be used for quite a lot of choices.

    4. Yay thanks!

I airbrush my yellows but I'm always in for rich reds. Will take a look at those, kindly appreciated.

I'm also considering the contrast medium.

  8. I think they look great, and they're done. I'm still struggling to get the look I want with contrast, but I like its potential.
