Lapdances and Jailbreaks...Just another day in the town of Graveskul

So I had decided that I needed a village to go along with my terrain board.  I was gathering all my supplies, and then the task at hand became very daunting to me.  So I decided to hold up for a bit, then I was messing around looking for inspiration online when I came across Ben Galbraith of Homebrewed Worlds.  Quick go take a look and then pop back.  Awesome stuff right?  I think so!  Well after a couple messages back and forth we were on the same page, and I hired him to build me this village.

Anyway this is what we created!  Have fun looking. ;)

Is that a Troll?

Come in an get it while it's hawt!

El Zombo is everyone's favorite new energy drink!

Wrecked will make you feel like!

It's all up in your face.  Booty booty booty all over the place.

So there you have the town of Graveskul!  Right now it has a bank, hotel, sheriffs office/jail, a warhouse/stable, everyone's favorite Combat Burgers restaurant, a doctor/undertaker, Busty Bronco's the stripclub.

A town of terror, violence, mayhem, horror, and misery!  Here on the frontier in a realm torn by rebellion, one can make themselves an existence with a fistful of Chaos Kredz, or for a few Kredz more who knows?

  3. Very cool, I like all the signs and posters. There are some pretty sweet buildings on his facebook page too. I look forward to seeing more reports and perhaps even pillaging Graveskull at the next meet up.

  4. Fantastic! I love the little touches, like the half boarded up windows, the vending machines and the garbage cans concealing toxic sludge. It's a real work of wart.

    1. Thanks Matthew! I really wanted the pieces to be visual from 360 degrees. So there are little touches to look at no matter what side of the table one is on.

  5. Fuck yeah! That looks like it'd be awesome to play on. The story you could weave out of that board. Like a sci-fi Dallas, back stabbing and shout outs with the odd Long Island iced tea thrown in.

  8. Also while I appreciate all this praise! Lolz
Homebrewed Worlds deserves the real credit! They went above and beyond. Without their help this lovely scenic table would just be wood and styrofoam! So if you have any terrain projects that you can't handle yourself I can't recommend them enough! Check them out on Facebook.

  9. Those buildings are just incredible. All the better for being scratch-built. I just love all the details on and around them, like the posters and vending machines. I also like that it looks part Wild West and part Sci-fi. Looking at them, my first thought was that they'd fit in perfectly for a Cursed Earth setting in my Judge Dredd campaign.
