Progress continues on my French Corp up next the Italian 6th Regiment, Somewhere in Spain...
The Voltigeur officer conversion is coming along well—swapped out the original head for one with a more dynamic look, for that extra bit of flair.
The wounded drummer is a small but satisfying touch, really helping to bring the battlefield to life with a sense of struggle.
The grenadiers in bearskins are nearly done, and they’re shaping up to be some of my favorites so far—especially the sapper!
The Voltigeurs in bearskin colpacks and buff leggings add a unique flair to the unit, blending elite skirmisher agility with the imposing presence of veteran grenadiers.
Uniform-wise, I’ve kept to the classic white with green chest trim and red cuff highlights, and so far, I’m pleased with how they’re turning out. The contrast between the crisp white and the vibrant details really helps sell the Italian look, especially with the added shading and weathering.
A few finishing touches, and they’ll be ready to march into Spain!
