Gav 2.0

G'day M8's
Over the last couple games Gav had been doing so well I thought it was time to reward him.  I went with armor and a big sword.  The armor negates his trollish regeneration but I couldn't resist.

I gave him a flock bath so he would match Nigel better, I think he scales with him way better now.  Flock on monsters makes them look so much cooler don't you think?

Gav.1 will be retired to the viewing shelf as the new upgraded version will be taking the field.

That's all for now tune in next time. ;)

    1. He was pretty dejected for a bit, but then I gave him a goblin to munch on and he was all better. He is happy to retire to a life of easy living. ;)

    1. Haha. He always looks sad. I love that figure.

But Gav 2.0 does look closer to Nigel... and a bit of a beast!

    3. Ya I think so too. Zero. Now I got two beefy trolls that can hopefully kill some more giants when we meet again Zero! ;)

    5. He got smashed pretty bad the last go around. Nigel was the one wrecking things.

  7. I never understood how wearing armour would negate the regenerative prowess of a troll, so always changed the rule that every second wound can have an attempt to heal. Gav look great now, easily the meanest troll in the forest but isn't he going to get some sort of base detail? Mushrooms or leaves, like Gav Junior and Nigel?

    1. Ya it is an odd rule. I'm thinking of following it though, as it gives some variety. Yes he is going to get some more base detail. I just have not had time to do it. I need to add leaves, and mushrooms to I believe my chaos dwarf cavalry, the new beserkers, and Gav 2.0. Then everything should be pretty well complete. Till i decide to add something else. LOL Thanks for the kind comments over the last couple post as well James.

    1. Thanks Suber. Next post should be the army showcase if I get time to get the camera out this weekend. I look forward to seeing what you think of the whole force, as it has changed a bit from my last army showcase. ;)
